EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a form of psychotherapy.
I use EMDR to address situations that have been identified as central to the patient’s current symptoms. While this approach is known to initially treat trauma and post-traumatic stress symptoms, it is actually used to treat a variety of symptoms (stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phobias, assertiveness, etc.) . The process consists of finding the situations at the origin of the current problem.
